U GOT HEART was born from my own story.

Growing up, I experienced some hardship. I watched my family face many difficult challenges, which made my childhood far from pretty. Some figures were in and out of my life, and those experiences often left me feeling lost, uncertain, and unsure of where I truly belonged.

Those experiences could have made me bitter, but instead they gave me a different perspective. They showed me how much a little kindness, support, and encouragement can mean to someone who is struggling.

As I got older, I realized there are countless children, teenagers, and families experiencing similar challenges every day. I couldn’t change what happened in my childhood, but I could use those experiences to help create something positive for others.

That’s why I created U GOT HEART.

U GOT HEART is more than a clothing brand. It’s a movement built on compassion, resilience, and community. Through our merchandise, events, block parties, and outreach efforts, our goal is to bring people together, support those in need, and remind people that they matter.

Whether it’s providing school supplies, giving away food, supporting mental health initiatives, partnering with children’s organizations, or simply creating spaces where people feel welcomed and valued, we want to lead with heart in everything we do.

The name U GOT HEART is a reminder that no matter where you’ve been, what you’ve faced, or what you’re going through, there is strength inside you. There is purpose inside you. There is hope inside you.
